The drive trays of CP116 feature tool-less drive installation for easy drive maintenance and adapts EDSFF E1.S SSD (5.9mm/8.01mm/9.5mm/15mm) or M.2 NVMe SSD (2230/2242/2260/2280/22110), giving you the maximum flexibility to choose the drives.

To unlock the full performance of PCIe 4.0 x4 speed, the CP116 uses dual SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) connectors to support four drives with transfer rates up to 64Gbps per drive.

The heavy-duty full metal construction can withstand the harshest environments and offers ample heat dissipation. In addition, the user-replaceable dual 40mm cooling fans and more than 90 ventilation holes throughout the enclosure provide the maximum cooling performance to keep the E1.S or M.2 NVMe SSD within optimal temperature ranges. The dual cooling fans come with three fan speed settings: High, Low, and Off allows users to choose the appropriate fan speed option.

For drive security, the 2-segment metal key lock secures all four drives together and offers reliable drive protection to prevent unauthorized access to your valuable drives. Additionally, the eagle-hook lock system on the tray latch helps avoid accidental or unwanted drive ejection.

Individual LED lights are built into the drive tray to indicate the drive status - a solid green light indicates a drive is inserted and has power, a flashing green light indicates the drive is in use. The LED and fan will shut off when no drive is inserted to reduce power consumption.
