The CP080 is a low-profile PCIe adapter for 1x M.2 NVMe SSD, and allows you to add ultra-fast NVMe-based storage to your desktop, workstation PC, or server computer. CP080 is connected through a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, to provide the full NVMe bandwidth specification of 32Gbps. Mounting brackets are included to install the adapter in either a half-height or full-height expansion slot on any computer chassis or rackmount system. The CP080's adaptive drive mounting feature supports all the standard M.2 NVMe SSD sizes, including 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280.

An included aluminum heatsink with heat-dissipating fins surrounds both sides of your drive, and works together with thermal pads to provide excellent passive cooling. When additional cooling is required for high-intensity applications, any 2-pin cooling fan can be optionally added and connected to the onboard fan connector. A blue LED gives you easily recognizable drive status updates, and shuts down when no drive is installed to save power.
